Wye School Arboricultural Survey

It may seem strange to those local people who enjoy the freedom of walking through glades and woodland that June is the time that developers hire ‘independent’ specialists to carry out statutory surveys before putting in theoir planning applications. I suppose it is easier for the specialists to do their work and not get their shoes wet. Anyway, to accompany the ecological survey that did not seem to be bothered about butterflies, here is the tree survey. Note mainly the handful of valuable trees and the large number of medoicreor trees that, with a little bit of fiddling, would not be missed!
